CB AutoServices offers engine remaps for both petrol and diesel engines.

What is remapping?

Remapping is the process of installing software onto your car's ECU (electronic control unit) to replace the original factory software from the manufacturer. This is what monitors a number of sensors in your engine and sends signals to control the engine speed and the amount of fuel injected during the combustion cycle.

My modifying the software the ECU can optimise how the engine interprets and responds to the sensors. Having your car's engine remapped can have two main benefits.

• Increased horsepower for improved performance and speed.
• Improved fuel economy.
